Fruits for Kids Helping Children Everywhere

ILBS is supporting the Passam Passam Tiendreobego' project in Burkina Faso and other ILBS supported prjects through the marketing of various special high quality fruit products, including the delicious 'Amelie' Mangos from Burkina Faso and the best oranges in the world from Sicily in its Fruits for Kids project.
For example, with the aid of the Hilfsfonds Burkina Faso in Germany, five schools have been built in Burkina Faso since 2001 purely through the sale of these fruits.
Now we want to build and support a vocational college there as a pilot project.



ILBS also wants to use part of the sale as a solidarity fund to support other ILBS childrens education projects, especially the Gandhi for Children Project until they are able to contribute to an international fund as well as becoming self-supporting.

• Additionally, ILBS will use its network of experienced managers to give practical help in providing advice and the establishment of an international sales network.
• We see a possibility through this work to spread the message of ILBS and Arun Gandhi - especially the teaching of nonviolence and charity in a practical manner. This can be achieved, for example, through school projects where a team of experienced teachers is already available. This will have the additional effect of teaching children about the better tasting alternatives to candies and fast foods and hopefully lead to healthier eating habits.
  
• The products grow naturally and without the use of chemicals in Burkina Faso and elsewhere.
  
• The farmers harvest the fruit and gain an additional income through this opportunity.
  
• There is no negative effect on the production of basic food. In fact it enables the farmers to make additional investments in the production of basic food products.
